A quick and awesome way to give egg to your baby. A scrambled and poached egg which is then made smooth and creamy with the addition of oats. Dill is a perfect seasoning for eggs and the addition of cheese makes it all the more nutritive.
Heat about 1/2 cup of water. Just before it starts boiling, add the egg / eggyolk and stir vigorously to break it into small pieces. As the water comes to a boil, the egg should be well cooked by now.
Add the oats and keep it on a low flame till cooked. Add a little more water if necessary.
Season with dill and add the cheese if using, stir and turn off the heat.
For a younger baby: Blend till smooth and feed.
For the next stage: Leave it a bit chunky. If the egg was stirred vigorously as it cooked, there shouldnt be much of chunks in there. Enjoy the cheese, eggy, dilly, oatmeal!
